This upskilling positioned them to win new contracts, including a €3.4 million deal in 2019—the largest ever awarded to an Irish company for a European Space Agency science mission. Space Industry Skillnet continues to help Irish companies explore commercial opportunities in the space sector by equipping them with the necessary skills.
