Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from everyone at Skillnet Ireland

Context

Skillnet Ireland is seeking the views of interested stakeholders to inform the development of its new Statement of Strategy 2026-2028. The aim of the strategy is to ensure that Skillnet Ireland meets the workforce development needs of enterprise and the workforce over the strategy timeframe and support the competitiveness and resilience of Ireland's economy.

Skillnet Ireland has undertaken a wide-ranging strategy consultation process with its industry partners and stakeholder groups including enterprise, Government Departments and agencies, education sector and representative groups to help set out a clear vision for future growth, transformation and development of the agency.

Submissions are now invited from interested parties to assist Skillnet Ireland in setting out the strategic direction for the organisation. The consultation aims to bring together the combined insights and perspectives of all our stakeholders and develop a coherent and ambitious approach to future opportunities.

We invite you to read the Public Consultation Paper, which provides context to the outline strategy and key thematic areas.

The Strategy Consultation Paper can be accessed here.
