The network’s mission is to boost regional development by strengthening businesses through the provision of subsidised training solutions. These programmes aim to address knowledge gaps and enhance existing expertise.
Collaborating with industry, the network designs, develops and delivers responsive, bespoke and flexible upskilling courses to meet the ongoing needs of businesses. Carlow Kilkenny Skillnet is promoted by Carlow Kilkenny Training Network Ltd. Membership of the network is open to private enterprises in the South East Region.

Working with Carlow Kilkenny Skillnet, they developed a bespoke emerging leaders programme that built management capability, supported hybrid working, and aligned with their talent strategy. The training delivered strong results: 98% of managers now use the skills learned, many technical staff have progressed into leadership roles, and a culture of learning has taken hold.
