This research study examines current and emerging skill needs within Ireland’s private enterprise sector to enable innovation and support the transition to a low-carbon economy. More specifically, this research provides novel evidence on: Business awareness of and exposure to climate change challenges; skill needs in the medium term to support enterprise innovation activities and the transition to a low-carbon economy; and existing upskilling programmes and future training needs to develop the necessary skill sets.
