This report proposes to identify the new construction sector business model necessary for the effective implementation of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and the related new roles and skills required to perform effectively. This allows the sector to improve its productivity and meet the needs of the Irish National Development Plan (NDP) 2021 and Housing for All (HfA) strategy. While focusing on MMC it will also necessarily involve digital transformation and sustainable construction as these are intrinsically linked with the effective implementation of MMC.
