The aim of the research study was to identify and explore the opportunity to develop digital badge credentials for non-accredited programmes undertaken by member companies and employees in the food and agri-food sector and to examine the potential for future adoption of these. This research study is the one of the first to consider the specific needs of one of Ireland’s largest and most significant indigenous sectors. This research was conducted by the Food Industry Training Unit, University College Cork (UCC) on behalf of Taste4Success Skillnet.
