Electronic engineers can seize the opportunity to learn from a world-renowned lecturer in the field of Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit Design through a five-day course organised by MIDAS Electronic Systems Skillnet.
The Network has arranged for Professor Behzad Razavi, Director of the Communication Circuits Laboratory at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), to visit Ireland to deliver a course to over 60 engineers in UCD from 21-25 May.
The five-day course focuses on circuit design for wireless applications such as health and fitness monitors and smart homes, which utilise wireless communication standards including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and mobile technology. About half of this course coincides with a graduate course taught at UCLA where Razavi teaches. The other half consists of more advanced topics specifically chosen for this 5-day course.
Razavi’s visit and course is the highlight of the 2018 training schedule being organised by MIDAS Electronic Systems Skillnet with the objective to enhance highly specialised skills and knowledge of electronic engineers within the Irish semiconductor and electronic systems sector.
