Rural Food Skillnet supports businesses of all sizes in the food and hospitality sector through subsidised upskilling programmes. The Irish food and hospitality sector is internationally recognised for its high-quality standards and produce. Rural Food Skillnet’s mission is to grow the sector, by developing a strong talent base and enhancing existing specialised knowledge and skills. 

Collaborating with industry, the network designs, develops and delivers responsive, bespoke and flexible training courses to address the ongoing needs of businesses. Rural Food Skillnet is promoted by Rural Food Company Training Network. Membership of the network is open to private businesses.

I attended a training event as part of the Rural Food Skillnet and I have to say it was completely different from your normal networking event! The one-to-one sessions we had with other attendees were a very practical and innovative way of getting to know other people and businesses within the wider network.
