Futurescope 2018, an event focussed on creating new business opportunities, is taking place at the Convention Centre on 31 May. Each year the one-day event attracts a wide audience of start-ups, investors, large enterprise, multinationals, academia, media and key influencers.
The Future of Tech Workforces
As part of the event Skillnet Ireland’s Chief Executive, Paul Healy will be taking part in a panel discussion about the future of learning.
Along with representatives from TAG Innovation School, the Learnovate Centre and Soapbox Labs, the panel will discuss the ever-increasing skills gap created by a tech-centric society in pushing the transition towards digital skill.
Creativity Meets Technology
Animation Skillnet and Animation Ireland will also be hosting a room on the theme of “Creativity Meets Technology”. A highlight of the session is Intellectual Property specialist, Rob Hudnut, who was formally the Head of Mattel’s entertainment division, who will discuss how to create IP for children that inspires play.
Animation Skillnet and Animation Ireland have also lined up some of the biggest names in the Irish and International technology industry to speak about:
